Ecommerce margin and growth audit for brands in the UAE and the GCC

In two weeks we show you how many of your orders Meta and GA4 actually see, how many COD orders you lose, how much revenue your flows leave on the table and what to fix first.

The ecommerce growth audit by Ocean Partners Consulting, the marketing, CRM and AI consultancy with teams in Dubai and Barcelona, is a two-week review of your tracking, ads, product feed, retention flows, cash-on-delivery performance and customer service. It costs AED 5,500, excluding VAT, is deducted in full from the setup if you sign within 30 days and ends with a 90-day plan.

What the ecommerce growth audit answers

At the end of the two weeks you will have answers your current reports cannot give you:

  • What share of your Shopify orders Meta, Google and GA4 actually record.
  • What a new customer really costs, separated from repeat purchases.
  • Your revenue per dirham of ad spend and contribution margin after ads over the last 6 to 12 months.
  • How many COD orders are refused or returned, and what that costs you.
  • Which retention flows are missing, and how much of your customer service could be automated.

What we review

The audit follows the five layers of our ecommerce growth system.

Tracking

Shopify orders compared with Meta, Google and GA4, event quality, Conversions API and consent set-up.

Ads and feed

Meta and Google account structure, new versus returning customers, creative cadence and fatigue, Merchant Center errors, and marketplace activity on Noon or Amazon.ae.

Retention

Your Klaviyo or email flows against the suite we recommend, segmentation, campaign cadence, and opt-in status for email, SMS and WhatsApp.

Customer service and COD

A sample of 200 enquiries classified by reason (order status, exchanges, returns, product questions, COD), with the share an AI agent could resolve. COD confirmation, refusal and return-to-origin rates.

Margin

A dashboard of revenue against ad spend, cost per new customer and contribution margin, with Shopify as the source of truth.

We also flag checkout and store issues that look inconsistent with UAE ecommerce and consumer protection rules, such as fees not shown before purchase or product information missing in Arabic. This is a marketing review, not legal advice.

What you receive

  • A ranked list of leaks by impact and effort.
  • The margin dashboard for the last 6 to 12 months.
  • Your current flows mapped against the recommended suite.
  • The enquiry classification with the share that can be automated.
  • Your COD baseline and the changes we would make.
  • A 90-day plan with estimated impact ranges, not promises.
  • A fixed proposal for the setup and the monthly plan that fits. Our published plans and pricing are “from” reference prices; the proposal adapts them to your case.

Who it’s for

  • UAE and GCC direct-to-consumer brands in fashion, modest wear, fragrance, beauty, jewellery or home, selling on Shopify.
  • European brands preparing to launch in the UAE or the wider GCC.
  • Brands spending at least around AED 12,000 a month on ads, or planning to, ahead of Ramadan, White Friday or a new market.

What the audit is not

  • It is not a free sales call. It is paid work with written deliverables you keep.
  • We don’t touch your accounts or campaigns during the audit.
  • It is not a legal or regulatory review.
  • It does not promise a sales figure.

Why the audit is paid and deductible

Charging for the audit means we do it properly, and you get a useful result whatever you decide. Deducting it from the setup means you never pay twice for the same analysis. Every number in the audit comes from your own store and accounts, not from industry averages.

How it works

  1. Kick-off call. Goals, markets, channels and current tools.
  2. Access and data (days 1–3). Read-only access and order exports.
  3. Analysis (days 4–10). Reconciliation, account and feed review, flow mapping, enquiry and COD analysis.
  4. Results session (end of week 2). Findings, 90-day plan and proposal.

Next step

Book your audit using the form below. Tell us which store platform you use, which markets you sell in and roughly what you spend on ads each month; we will confirm the kick-off date and send the access checklist.

What ecommerce brands ask before we start.

How much does the ecommerce growth audit cost?
The audit costs AED 5,500, excluding VAT. If you sign the system setup within 30 days of receiving the results, the full amount is deducted from the setup fee. If you decide not to continue, you keep every deliverable, including the margin dashboard and the 90-day plan, and can execute it with your own team or another provider.
What access do you need?
Read-only access to Shopify or your store platform, Meta Ads, Google Ads, Merchant Center, GA4, Klaviyo or your email tool, and your helpdesk or WhatsApp inbox. An export of recent COD orders with their delivery status, and product costs by SKU if available. We change nothing in your accounts during the audit.
Will the audit measure our COD losses?
Yes, where your data allows it. We look at recent cash-on-delivery orders, how many were confirmed, refused or returned to origin, and where the address or contact details were incomplete. You get your own refusal rate, its estimated cost and the changes we would make before dispatch, at checkout and in payment options.
Is the audit useful for a European brand entering the UAE?
Yes. For brands not yet selling in the Gulf, we review your current store, tracking and flows, then assess what launching in the UAE would require: Arabic content, AED pricing, local payments such as Tabby and Tamara, COD, WhatsApp and campaign set-up. You get a launch plan and a scoped proposal.
Will you tell us how much more we will sell?
We won't promise a figure. You get a 90-day plan ranked by impact and effort, with estimated impact shown as ranges rather than promises, and the indicators we would use to measure progress: revenue per dirham of ad spend, cost per new customer, contribution margin, COD confirmation rate and the share of revenue from your own channels.
