In two weeks you will know how fast you answer a US client compared with three competitors, where enquiries are lost and what a signed engagement costs you today.

Office hours: Mon–Fri, 09:00–18:00 local time in both studios

The law firm intake audit by Ocean Partners Consulting, the marketing, CRM and AI consultancy operating from Barcelona and Dubai, measures in two weeks how your firm attracts, answers and converts international clients, from the first ad to the signed engagement letter. It costs €900, excluding VAT, and is deducted in full from the setup if you sign within 30 days.

What the law firm intake audit reviews

Response: the 10pm mystery shopping

We contact you five times as a client from the US or the UK: a web form at 10pm Spanish time, WhatsApp, email and a call. We measure how long you take to answer, in which language, how well, and how much friction there is in booking. We do the same with three competitors, so you see the real comparison.

Conversion: the last 90 days

Enquiry, consultation, proposal and signed engagement, by service and by country. How many free consultations were not qualified, how long proposals took and how many were never followed up.

Acquisition: ads and tracking

Your Google and Meta campaigns, if any: structure by route, countries, keywords, landing pages, pixel, Conversions API and whether any conversion is tied to a signed engagement.

Conduct rules on ads and website

We flag anything that looks inconsistent with Article 6 of the Spanish Bar’s Code of Conduct, such as promised outcomes, testimonials without consent or a missing Bar Association reference, and pages still selling the golden visa as an open route.

Stack, data and risk

Which tools you use, where data travels and where the risks are: consent, separation of lead data from matter data, KYC documents arriving over WhatsApp, and realistic integrations with Clio or your document management system.

What we need from you

  • Read-only access to Google Ads, Meta, Analytics and your CRM, if you have one.
  • Your services and packages with indicative fees.
  • Aggregated figures for the last 90 days: enquiries, proposals sent and engagements signed.
  • Thirty minutes with whoever handles new enquiries today.
  • Optionally, the competitors you want to be compared with.

We do not ask for matter files or client documents.

What you receive

  • The mystery-shopping scorecard against three competitors.
  • Your funnel with leaks ranked by impact and effort.
  • Your current cost per signed engagement, or the data missing to calculate it.
  • The conduct-rule review of your ads and website.
  • A map of your stack, data flows and risks, with viable integrations.
  • A business case with scenarios, a roadmap and a fixed proposal for the setup and monthly plan. See plans and pricing.

How it works

  1. Kick-off call. Practices, markets, goals and access requests.
  2. Analysis. Mystery shopping, account review, funnel, conduct rules and stack.
  3. Results session (end of week two). Findings, report and proposal.

Who it’s for

  • Boutique firms in Spain with immigration and another mobility practice: tax, property or corporate.
  • International firms and partners running a Spanish desk for US and UK clients.
  • Tax advisers for inbound workers and non-residents.
  • Relocation consultancies supporting expatriates.

What the audit is not

  • It is not a free sales call. It is paid work with written deliverables you keep.
  • It is not legal advice or a regulatory compliance audit.
  • It does not involve matter files or client documents.
  • It does not promise a number of engagements.

Why it costs €900 and is deducted

Charging for the audit forces us to do it properly, and mystery shopping against competitors is real work. Deducting it from the setup means you never pay twice for the same analysis. The setup and plan prices in the proposal start from our published reference prices and are adjusted to what we find. To see the full system first, read about law firm marketing in Spain.

Next step

Book your audit using the form below. Tell us which practices and markets you want to grow; we will confirm the kick-off date and send the access checklist. In two weeks you will have your scorecard, your cost per engagement and a fixed proposal, with no obligation to continue.

What law firms ask before we start.

How much does the law firm intake audit cost?
The audit costs €900, excluding VAT, and takes two weeks. If you sign the system setup within 30 days of receiving the results, the full amount is deducted from the setup fee. If you decide not to continue, you keep every deliverable and can act on it with your own team or with another provider.
What does the mystery shopping involve?
We contact your firm five times as a prospective client from the US or the UK: a web form at 10pm Spanish time, WhatsApp, email and a phone call. We measure response time, language, quality of the answer and how easy it is to book a consultation, and we do the same with three competitors chosen by you or identified by us.
Do you need access to client files?
No. We work with marketing and commercial data: ad accounts, analytics, enquiry volumes, proposals sent and signed, ideally aggregated by service and country. We do not ask for matter files, client documents or privileged communications. If an export contains any, we ask you to remove it before sharing.
Will you check whether our ads comply with Spanish conduct rules?
We flag ads and pages that look inconsistent with Article 6 of the Spanish Bar's Code of Conduct, such as promised outcomes, testimonials without consent or a missing Bar Association reference, and any page still selling Spain's golden visa as an open route. This is a marketing review, not legal advice; the firm makes the final call.
Is the audit available for firms in Dubai?
For business setup, golden visa and PRO consultancies in Dubai we run an equivalent audit focused on WhatsApp response times, lead assignment and telemarketing rules, at AED 5,000. For UAE law firms we only review CRM and intake operations, because local rules restrict how lawyers may promote their services.
What happens after the audit?
We present the findings in a session and leave you a fixed proposal for the setup and the monthly plan that fits, with the price already adjusted to your firm. There is no obligation to continue. If you sign within 30 days, we deduct the €900 and start a setup that takes five to seven weeks.
